NEVERMORE: An evening with the spirit of Edgar Allan Poe
SOLD OUT!
On Halloween-eve, Hermann Farm is pleased to present a spirited evening featuring renowned history interpreter Anne Williams, who will perform some of Edgar Allan Poe’s best known works, including selections from The Black Cat, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Raven, The Oval Portrait and Annabelle Lee.
The evening will begin at 6pm at our distillery on the Rasche homestead, with Black Shire cocktails and Tin Mill beer available for purchase along with food from area food trucks.
At 7pm, the performance will begin and when it concludes, guests may go on a guided lantern tour of the Rasche house and tour Black Shire’s still room and rickhouse. We’ll have a bonfire going and cocktails, snacks and sweets will be served at the Black Shire tasting room to close out the night.
Adults only, please.

Oktoberfest '21
Join us for Oktoberfest every weekend in October!
Beginning Friday, Oct. 1, we will offer whiskey flights, cocktails and slushees at the Gutenberg tasting room, with seating in the rustic bar or out on our expansive patio overlooking Frene Creek.
Cocktails include our fan-favorite Blackberry Whiskey Lemonade, Red Slipper and the Iced Bourbon Chai we put on our menu last month. It’s been such a hit that we’re keeping it on the menu through October. Our current slushee flavor is Vodka-Berry … and you may see the Whiskey Cola make its way back on the menu this year too.
We will be open every weekend from 11am to 6pm, with live music from Red Bridge Bluegrass from 1 to 5pm every Saturday.
